Retail Floor Worker wanted

We are a busy dairy shop located in Auckland, open 7 days per week. We now require 1 full-time permanent Retail Floor Worker to join in our team.

We offer minimum 30 & maximum 60 hours per week.

The shift will in rotating roaster between of Monday to Sunday 7am to 7:30pm, and our pay range is from $25.00/hour to $30.00/hour depending on your learning abilities. You will need to be able to work independently and effectively.

Role and responsibilities:

• Process customer orders and handle transactions at the point of sale.

• Operate cash registers, receive payments, and provide accurate change.

• Ensure the accuracy of orders and payments.

• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods securely.

• Issue receipts and maintain transaction records.

• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items or promotions.

• Assist with restocking items at the cashier station.

• Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

No prior work experience is required for this role but could be an advantage. Training will be provided. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.
