We have an opening for a Senior Jet Boat Driver at Dart River Adventures. This role will assist the Head Jet Boat Driver by mentoring and leading the boat driving team to deliver a thrilling, safe, and enjoyable experience to our manuhiri (visitors).

You Will Be Responsible For

• Ensuring our manuhiri (visitors) are provided with a thrilling, enjoyable experience within the bounds of safety standards
• Making operational decisions in regard to river and weather conditions
• Assisting with boat driver training
• Assisting with boat driver monitoring
• Acting as a role model to jet boat driving team at all times
• Ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Assisting in ensuring drivers downtime is used constructively
  
  

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

• A minimum 1500 Dart River Adventure commercial hours
• A track record of exceptional health and safety leadership
• A passion for delivering amazing customer experiences
• A passion for teaching, coaching and enabling others to learn
• A positive attitude towards work, Dart River Adventures and Ngāi Tahu's values
• An interest and willingness to learn some tē reo māori including greetings, karakia, mihi and other terms as part of Ngāi Tahu values
