Our Commercial Operations Group are a financial ‘supermarket’ offering our Co-op a pick n mix of solutions across commercial finance, store ownership, funding, financial planning & management, data analysis & reporting, accounting & transactional services including payroll, AR & AP & master data solutions.

Te Tūranga – About The Role

This role is part of a team who drive efficiencies and build relationships across our store network working closely with owner/operators and their teams.

With Our Customers Front Of Mind, You’ll Provide Service On All Non-customer Facing Office Transactions For Selected Stores. This Is An Opportunity To Learn And Master a Variety Of Tasks Including

  • Accounts payable
  • Parked invoices triaging
  • Vendor credit reconciliation
  • Post bank upload reconciliation
  • GL reconciliation and clearing
  • Vendor management
  • GR/IR
  • Gift card/Christmas club reconciliation and clearing
  • Highlight up-front process issues impacting on store accuracy/efficiency
  • Driving a continuous improvement culture within the team to ensure ongoing improvements for process efficiency and customer service

He Kōrero Mōu - About You

With a customer driven mindset, you’ll utilise your strong communication skills to work collaboratively to resolve issues and prevent them happening again. Your previous experience working with SAP financial processes will ensure you deliver accurate and complete work and you will love working with systems and processes to maintain and streamline business transactions.

With a curious mindset and strong initiative, you will really enjoy proactively identify opportunities for improvement and coach and guide stakeholders in best practice. Needless to say you will need to have great time management and communication skills, eagerness to learn and enjoy working in a team environment.

People will describe you as a doer, capable of speedily delivering high volumes of quality work, yet also be flexible and able respond to incoming requests. You get stuff done!
