About Us

We are a rapidly growing consultancy dedicated to enterprise payroll, workforce management and HCM solutions. With over 100 years of combined expertise, our team has supported some of the largest employers and software vendors across New Zealand and Australia. We partner with businesses nationwide to ensure payroll compliance, streamline processes, and unlock insights from workforce data to inform better business decisions. Passionate about payroll and driven by results, we’re committed to delivering smart, practical solutions that make a real impact.

About The Role

We’re currently seeking a PayGlobal Consultant to join our Consulting Services Practice. In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing PayGlobal solutions with a strong focus on New Zealand payroll compliance, time and attendance, and workforce management functionality across a range of industries. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their needs, configure the system, and deliver practical solutions that improve their payroll and workforce operations.

When you’re not leading implementation or providing client support, you’ll contribute to the success of the wider team—whether that’s assisting with configuration testing, supporting BAU activities, collaborating on value-add initiatives, or creating clear and engaging process and training documentation. There is also the opportunity to learn other systems and get involved in different projects. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and making an impact.

Key Areas Of Responsibility Will Include

  • Deliver expert PayGlobal consulting services, with a strong focus on New Zealand payroll and workforce management best practices
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, taking the time to understand their business goals, compliance needs, and operational challenges
  • Support client's post-implementation by investigating issues, resolving configuration and processing errors, and providing practical, timely solutions
  • Translate complex legislation, company policies, and employment agreements into accurate system configurations
  • Conduct detailed testing activities including unit, scenario, and parallel run testing to ensure successful deployment
  • Analyse, cleanse, and validate complex data sets to support smooth data migration and system accuracy
  • Assist clients with data extraction and cleansing to prepare for system implementation or transition
  • Document configurations, user procedures, resolutions, and client-specific processes using tools like Word, Jira, and Confluence
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Set clear expectations and proactively communicate status updates, risks, and impacts to both internal and external stakeholders

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience with implementing & supporting PayGlobal, particularly across payroll and workforce management modules
  • Confident leading client-facing design workshops, facilitating discovery sessions, and translating business needs into system requirements
  • Skilled in documenting functional and technical requirements, writing clear specification documents, and supporting configuration delivery
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical, scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders from frontline users to executive sponsors
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a consulting team environment
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving projects, with the flexibility to adapt to shifting timelines and evolving client needs
  • Technically capable and quick to learn new systems and processes
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel, with experience producing documentation, analysing data, and supporting change
  • Experience with multiple payroll or workforce management systems is a plus

  • Work with a group of like-minded and supportive people
  • Flexible working arrangements (time, location)
  • Competitive salary, OTE and tools of the trade
