We’re looking for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the way in ensuring our transport operations run safely, smoothly and efficiently. This is a vital, hands-on role that will see you making a meaningful difference every day – keeping essential sectors like healthcare, veterinary services, hospitality and more, stocked with the gases they depend on.

We’re looking for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the way in ensuring our transport operations run safely, smoothly and efficiently. This is a vital, hands-on role that will see you making a meaningful difference every day – keeping essential sectors like healthcare, veterinary services, hospitality and more, stocked with the gases they depend on.
What You Will Enjoy Doing
- Providing transport-specific leadership and guidance across the business
- Ensuring safety and compliance of all vehicles and drivers, including Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations
- Managing fleet operations and liaising closely with service agents
- Driving the implementation of formal strategies and processes to maintain delivery standards
- Sourcing and monitoring contractors, managing training and upholding strong customer service levels.
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams – sales, schedulers, operations – to keep everything moving.
- Managing cost control with budget.
- Travelling when needed to support business projects, roll out plans and site visits.
- Leading and contributing to project-based work and business case development
- A transport industry professional with solid truck, fleet and multi-drop management experience
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, including Dangerous Goods (DG) preferably in the LPG or Petroleum industry
- A natural communicator – confident working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of balancing strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving
- A team player who thrives in a fast-moving, people-driven environment
- Confident with computers, spreadsheets and other tech tools to manager reports, budgets and day-to-day tasks
