About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga
The Partnerships Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the management and development of nib's commercial partnerships as well as the management of marketing initiatives to drive growth for nib's international visitors and iwi channels. This position is responsible for coordinating activities and communications and driving both strategic and tactical initiatives to deliver on commercial objectives whilst ensuring smooth and effective collaboration. This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with commercial partners, by proactively assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to improve performance for both parties
- Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships, suggesting adjustments or improvement initiatives as necessary
- Ensure the delivery of monthly and quarterly reports to partners on performance including sales, customer profile, retention, and campaign performance
- Coordinate joint marketing activities and campaigns with partners, as well as supporting growth initiatives for international visitors and iwi channels
- Escalate operational issues raised by partners to appropriate internal stakeholders and ensure timely resolution
- Support the development and implementation of partnership strategies and tactical initiatives that align with company objectives
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of partnership revenue and expenses
- Continual monitoring of partners' contractual SLAs and taking/driving actions (escalating if required) to ensure nib delivers to agreed SLAs across the organisation
- Create and maintain regular tracking of actions and initiatives, ensuring response and delivery within agreed timeframes
- Coordinate and manage communications with existing and potential partners who have been identified
- Support the preparation and presentation of partnership proposals and business cases
About you | Ko Wai Koe
You have a solid knowledge of Microsoft suites and applications, along with strong interpersonal skills that allow you to build and maintain relationships through clear and consistent communication. Your high attention to detail, excellent time management, and methodical approach help you stay organized and efficient in your work. You are driven to provide a high level of service at all times and take the initiative to identify and implement improvements. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are also proficient in planning and have a strong ability to handle analytics and reporting. Additionally, you are capable of working independently or as part of a team, ensuring flexibility in any work environment.
