We are seeking Principal Advisors experienced in legislation to provide expert advice and support with the revision and development of bills.
We are seeking seasoned Principal Advisors with Legislative experience to support with expert legal and policy advice on legislative matters, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and legal frameworks. Successful candidates will have prior legislative experience and have worked with development of new bills and acts.

What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing and proposed legislation
- Develop and draft legislation
- Ensure legislative initiatives comply with best practices
- Provide expert advice to senior management and policymakers on legislative issues
- Facilitate consultations with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on legislative matters
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans related to legislation and regulatory compliance
- Identify potential impacts of legislative changes on the organisation and propose strategic responses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, legal experts, and other stakeholders
- Represent the organisation at legislative forums, hearings, and meetings
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive legislative advocacy
- Experience in Law, Public Policy, or a related field
- Extensive experience in legislative or legal advisory roles, preferably within a government or public sector context
- Strong understanding of legislative processes and government operations
- Proven ability to analyse complex legal and policy issues and develop strategic solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards
