About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiology Services B1/CCU Ward, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Your day will be dynamic and rewarding, as you provide specialised nursing care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, closely monitoring patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. About the Team/Service/ Location

Our Cardiology Services B1/CCU Ward team is a dedicated group of healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional cardiac care. We foster a supportive and collaborative environment where professional growth is encouraged, and patient care is our top priority.


As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will bring:

  • A current Annual Practising Certificate with the New Zealand Nursing Council
  • Experience or a strong interest in cardiology and/or critical care nursing
  • Cardiac experience and desirable to be able to interpret cardiac rhythms
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • A compassionate and patient-focused approach, ensuring the best outcomes for those in your care
