About the Team


This role sits within the hummgroup People and Culture team. We are a relatively flat organisational structure, and as a member of the team you are accountable for end-to-end responsibility for your area of focus and will need to be flexible and able to take on additional and/or different accountabilities as required.


About the Role

As our Remuneration & Benefits Analyst, you will provide specialist reward advice across multiple jurisdictions to our Remuneration & Benefits Business Partner and key business stakeholders. This role offers plenty of variety, from supporting and leading projects, assisting in the annual remuneration review process, generating reports and providing data insights, keeping up to date with changes in market practices and regulatory changes, provision of advice to the Remuneration & Benefits Business Partner and Leaders, assisting with the preparation of Board reports and other P&C projects.


This role would suit someone with a reward background with some generalist HR experience who is looking to grow their skills and experience, leading reward related projects

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

You would be:

· Providing interpretation and advice to key stakeholders regarding reward policies, benefits programs and practices across multiple jurisdictions.

· Conducting remuneration benchmarking, market research and analysis

· Coordination of performance and annual remuneration review program and salary survey submissions

· Support the design and delivery of reward and benefits offerings and programs, applying effective communication strategies

· Work with external vendors to develop and prepare proposals for reward and benefit related programs

· Develop creative guides to inform and educate employees and leaders

· Conducting regular analysis on key people metrics and reporting

· Preparation of regulatory and operational people reports (including Board reports)

· Keep abreast with new trend and best practice in the field

· Build reports and dashboards in Workday to support the People team

Run quarterly data audits in Workday and half yearly audits in Payroll

About your skills

You are someone who is focused on relationships and is flexible, motivated, enthusiastic, driven and passionate about customers, and who can operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment with excellent multi-tasking and a focus on delivering outcomes.



We're also looking for someone who also has:

  • Previous working experience as a reward and benefits specialist
  • Prior experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices globally
  • Good understanding of full cycle hiring process
  • Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations - AU & NZ essential, Ireland, UK and Canada a bonus
  • Hands on experience with HR software (HRIS), Workday experience preferred
  • Strong data, analytics and reporting skills - Microsoft excel skills essential, PowerBI bonus
