About The Role

This is an exciting time for our business as we are experiencing rapid growth. To meet the growing demand, we are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our dynamic Software Development team within the Technology department.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will also carry our manual regression tests & exploratory tests while we migrate towards full automation tests.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Collaborating with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Executing test cases, analyzing test results, and report findings with recommendations for resolution.
  • Ensuring testing aligns with CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Performing regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
  • Continuously monitoring and improving the effectiveness of automated tests.

About You

You are a detailed oriented automated and manual Software QA Tester with 3+ years of experience and a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks. You have a high performance mindset and are passionate about delivering high-quality software in a fast paced environment.

In addition to your technical abilities, you are also a strong communicator and are able to build rapport and work effectively with cross functional teams.

Other attributes that may help you succeed in the role:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT or other relevant disciplines.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools such as WebDriver, Cyprus, Playwright
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, TypeScript
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience with CI/CD environments, like GitHub Action, Jenkins, Azure DevOps etc
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
