Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

We are looking for a permanent Senior Salesforce Engineer with Apex experience to join our team at ACC. Ideally you will be located in Wellington however we are open to other areas of New Zealand

As a Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer, you will be leading the day-to-day activities of ACCs Salesforce platform and ensuring solutions and new features meet customer needs and are developed in accordance with best practices. Part of your role will involve mentoring and supporting the development of Junior and Intermediate Platform Engineers, so you will be in your element demonstrating engineering best practice and supporting with pair programming and reviews.

Our Salesforce environment is a complex platform with multiple applications using more than one Salesforce product including Lightning Platform, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and Omnistudio.

You will support and enhance a complex, growing platform with multiple apps. Deliver transparent, integrated, and fit-for-purpose change continuously across ACC.

Mōu | About you

  • Proven hands-on experience in custom development using Apex, Outbound messages, SOAP, REST API, external services, and Lightning components
  • Demonstrated experience in developing core Salesforce products
  • Sound understanding of modern development techniques and DevOps frameworks such as Flow, Unit testing and CI/CD
  • Good understanding of Data model concepts and Salesforce platform best practice
  • Understanding of Omni Studio, Salesforce DX and Public Sector Solutions would be an advantage

Ngā Kawatau Mahi | Job Expectations

  • Lead and be the expert providing the technical solution, development, implementation and maintenance on the Salesforce platform
  • Create and maintain relevant technical design and support documentation
  • Support Junior and Intermediate Platform Engineers growth through pair programming, reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring and demonstration of engineering best-practices
  • Represent the Salesforce Platform to clearly articulate and communicate the vision for the platform to enable us to improve engagement and communication between key stakeholders both internally and externally.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $117,787 and $166,288 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
