About the role
We have a new opportunity for a Project Support Coordinator to join our Tauranga office on a part-time basis, 20 hours per week. We are flexible on the days and hours you work, and we are happy to discuss this with the right candidate!
This is a key role to support exciting urban development projects from inception to completion. You will use your project management and organisation skills across a wide of range of activities that enable us to deliver an exceptional experience to our clients and streamline processes for our project teams. The size of our organisation is something our employees love; we're not too big or small so you quickly become an integral part of the business from day one.
Key responsibilities include:
- Keep projects running smoothly by preparing and finalising key documents like contracts, variations, and engagement letters.
- Set up of projects using our systems with detailed project information, including risk assessments and compliance checks.
- Work closely with the project team to understand client deliverables and proactively support their successful delivery.
- Manage and review project timelines and update any changes in key deliverables to all stakeholders.
- Monitor project financials, including budget tracking, revenue recognition, and variance analysis.
- Maintain up to date project and financial records including budgets, timelines and key project notes.
- Coordinate accounts payable and receivable processes in collaboration with project teams.
Your skills and experience
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years experience in a similar project support or coordination role, ideally within a consultancy or professional services environment.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office suite; Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
- Experience with coordinating project budgets and compiling accurate financial reports to support project tracking and decision-making.
- Familiarity with handling accounts payable/receivables processes and managing invoicing.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, allowing you to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike.
