About The Role
We're looking for a strong technically minded and customer-focussed Senior Test Engineer to join our Development team as part of our hardworking and multi-faceted IT function. Reporting to the Software Development Manager you will assist in our manual and automated testing practices, refining test plans, engaging in release meetings and using testing tools.
You'll also be working across multiple teams to support the implementation of Test Engineering practices as well as the identification and implementation of new testing solutions.
A key focus of the role also involves the continual improvement of processes, practices, platforms and tooling to help us achieve our goals and evolve over time.

You will have a natural testing mindset, be a great communicator and team player who is passionate about solving problems and strives for delivering good quality solutions.
This is a unique opportunity within our team where you will be driving our test engineering forwards within the organisation as well as being a key communication point across teams. You will have an excellent understanding of how each pod is progressing on current work and be actively involved in UX/UI designs and user scenarios on our products.
Our ideal candidate has experience in running release meetings, designing and enhancing test plans, conducting manual testing, and creating automated tests. You will also be a strong communicator across a range of different technical and non-technical teams as well as having the ability to act as a testing lead on external development teams.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- 6+ years of experience in test engineering including time in a senior role.
- Outstanding communication & agile project management skills.
- Experience working within agile software development teams.
- Picking up technical tools and concepts quickly.
- Experience in full lifecycle software development.
- Skills in test automation and programming would be advantageous.
- Recognised testing qualification such as ISTQB would be advantageous.
