About the role

Dawei Bricklaying Limited is seeking a Qualified Bricklayer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be based across the Waikato region, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within the building trades industry.

What you'll be doing

• Laying bricks, blocks and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, chimneys and other structures

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches and specifications to determine layout and dimensions

• Cutting and shaping bricks, blocks and other materials as required

• Ensuring high levels of workmanship and adherence to safety standards

• Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in bricklaying or masonry

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified bricklayer

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work efficiently and safely on construction sites
