Te āheinga - The opportunity:
- Partner with the senior leadership and key stakeholders to provide strategic financial advice to drive growth and enhance performance of the New Zealand business
- Undertake comprehensive modelling and analysis for key projects to provide advice on feasibility and financial impact
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost management and ultimately to deliver improved margin across the business through in-depth analysis, tracking and reporting
- Oversee standard monthly management reporting and variance analyses, account reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
- Engage with leadership to ensure comprehensive analysis of financials and prepare monthly commentary and analysis on the P&Ls for business service lines, as well as detailed revenue/expense analysis
- Identify, oversee, and deliver key projects across the business group that deliver improvement in long term viability and financial performance.
Mo koe - About you:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Economics and CA or CPA qualified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to provide finance support to non-finance personnel
- Strong organizational, analytical and customer service skills, with a solution focused approach
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to effectively present information in written and verbal form to subordinates customers and supervisors
- Strong capabilities with the Microsoft Office package, as well as experience with financial systems such as Peoplesoft, Business Intelligence reporting and TM1.
