Fantastic opportunity for an experienced BAS Accountant who wants to work in an established Accounting Firm in Wellington!
The Role
As a BAS Accountant you will be joining a medium sized team reporting in to an experienced leadership team where you will provide financial services to a range of clients across the business. Working alongside the leadership team you will have your own portfolio of clients that you will support. In this role, you will be assist clients with various aspects of business advisory and accounting services. Your tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
About You
This role would be perfect for someone who is qualified and currently working in a similar BAS Accounting role with a few years of post qualified experience. You’ll either be looking to step up from a boutique firm in to a larger, established firm that retains the same mature, boutique ‘vibe’, or perhaps looking for a more relaxed environment compared to the large Big 4 or Second Tier firm you currently work for.

- Client Advisory and business development
- Tax compliance
- Preparation of financial statements
- Cashflow and forecasting
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Training clients on systems/software when required
