The Opportunity

Rare and exciting opportunity for an all-round administration superstar to join this private sector development company as their Office Coordinator.

This position will see you join a welcoming, industry leading team, and be their ‘go to’ person in the Wellington-based office.

You will ensure the smooth running of this corporate office, managing a variety of day-to-day coordination duties, along with supporting a senior executive with PA duties, and turning your hand to design tasks using Canva.

Your Role Will See You

  • Coordinate the day to day running of the office
  • Act as the first point of contact for phones, visitors and staff
  • Manage the office calendar and meeting room bookings
  • Organise various events and client functions
  • Support a senior executive with administration and PA support as required
  • Design and collate presentations using Canva
  • Arrange travel bookings, accommodation and transport for staff
  • Manage and order office supplies
  • Oversee the maintenance of office premises and supplier relationships
  • Maintain professional communication with your team and clients
  • Create shipping labels and schedule courier collections
  • Provide basic IT support and liaise with the external IT provider

This is a permanent, full time 37.5 hour week position

About You

  • You offer proven administration experience and have the ability to connect the dots
  • You are flexible and happy turning your hand to whatever is needed
  • You need to be technically savvy being able to work across the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous
  • It goes without saying you have a professional sense of humour and enjoy supporting people
