Based in Newmarket, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who can provide water quality science - subject matter expertise to our operational teams, other water industry practitioners and our internal partners. The work you will be doing really makes a difference - looking after the environment and helping the community to stay healthy.

In This Role You Will

  • Ensure the delivery of Watercare's water quality performance goals and objectives, aligned with our business and customer expectations
  • Maintain water quality data, systems and associated programmes
  • Develop and management of business processes associated with drinking water.
  • Enhance our communities understanding of water quality by providing water quality science expertise, assisting with education programmes and community engagement activities
  • Manage the provisions of water quality metrics to our customers and connected communities

In this role you will bring

  • Equivalent to a tertiary degree in science, biological science, engineering or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven ability to develop data and manage data collection systems
  • Knowledge and experience in business continuance systems and quality systems
  • An understanding of drinking water regulation and public health risk management is desirable
