Based in Newmarket, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who can provide water quality science - subject matter expertise to our operational teams, other water industry practitioners and our internal partners. In This Role You Will
- Ensure the delivery of Watercare's water quality performance goals and objectives, aligned with our business and customer expectations
- Maintain water quality data, systems and associated programmes
- Develop and management of business processes associated with drinking water.
- Enhance our communities understanding of water quality by providing water quality science expertise, assisting with education programmes and community engagement activities
- Manage the provisions of water quality metrics to our customers and connected communities
In this role you will bring
- Equivalent to a tertiary degree in science, biological science, engineering or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to develop data and manage data collection systems
- Knowledge and experience in business continuance systems and quality systems
- An understanding of drinking water regulation and public health risk management is desirable
