We are a busy café located in Takapuna Auckland looking for two Cafe Supervisors/ Baristas to join our friendly team.

These are permanent positions offering between 30 to 40 hours per week at a pay rate of $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills. Key responsibilities will include:


  • Supervise café staff to ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company procedures.
  • Coordinate staff rosters, manage shift changes, and ensure adequate staffing during service periods.
  • Take customer orders, process payments, and provide service support during peak times.
  • Ensure all food and beverage preparation areas comply with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
  • Train new staff in café procedures, customer service standards, and safe food handling practices.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure all café equipment is clean, well-maintained, and operated safely.
  • Complete end-of-day cash reconciliations and assist with basic financial reporting as delegated.
  • Prepare and serve coffee and beverages to a high standard.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and manage transactions efficiently.
  • Uphold food safety and workplace health standards at all times.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Certificate in Business, Hospitality, Communication or a related field at NZQF Level 4
  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a hospitality environment is preferable
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and reliability including work on weekends
