Analytics Engineer

About the Role:

As we reshape our global data landscape, we’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to help drive innovation, modernisation, and business insight. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, working at the core of T&G’s enterprise transformation, delivering smarter systems, simpler architecture, and sharper analytics.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing scalable data solutions – Translate business needs into technical specifications and architect robust, high-performing data models in Snowflake.
• Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines – Build and optimise data pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the enterprise warehouse.
• Data modelling and integration – Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to design data structures and deliver unified, analytics-ready datasets.
• Performance tuning – Enhance query performance and ensure reliability across our BI platforms (Power BI).
• Contributing to major projects, including: Simplifying and streamlining our data architecture in Snowflake, Decommissioning legacy platforms and supporting global supply chain reporting.

About You

You’ll be naturally curious and solutions-focused, with a drive to continuously improve systems and processes. Your ability to collaborate across teams, solve complex problems, and communicate technical concepts clearly will make you a valued contributor to our transformation journey. You will also bring:

• Sound experience in data engineering and warehousing
• Strong technical skills in SQL, Snowflake, Power BI/DAX
• Solid understanding of modern data architecture, analytics technologies, and development practices
• A collaborative, problem-solving mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
• Genuine passion for continuous improvement and innovation in the data space
• Confident communication and presentation skills
