About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our General Paediatric Ward on a permanent basis. Our 16-bed facility provides care for children up to 15 years of age in an acute paediatric setting. This role offers an opportunity to make a real difference in children's health while working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team.


About the Team/Service/ Location

Our dedicated team is passionate about providing high-quality, family-centred care to children and their families. We work collaboratively across our General Paediatric Ward and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) to ensure a supportive, inclusive, and compassionate environment for both staff and patients. We value teamwork, professional development, and open communication. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that all team members—nursing, medical, and allied health—contribute to positive outcomes and continuous learning. As part of our team, you'll be supported to grow your skills in a nurturing and collaborative environment.


You will be a Registered Nurse who has:

  • Proven experience in paediatric nursing, ideally within an acute setting
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their families
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • A desire for variety, challenge, and continuous learning
  • Current NZ annual nursing practise certificate
