The Cadetship
Our Cadet roles are ideally suited to someone either finishing their school studies or with workforce experience wanting to retrain, who is practically minded, interested in a Civil Laboratory career, and has a get-the-job-done approach.
The successful candidates will work full-time in a permanent role and study part-time towards a Civil Engineering Laboratory Certificate.
Our Laboratory Technicians are required to conduct hands-on testing of civil engineering materials, such as concrete, asphalt, soils, bitumen and aggregates to NZ and International Standards.
This role will involve a variety of projects working in the laboratory or out in the field. This role involves a significant amount of physical activity, including lifting and carrying heavy material and equipment.
