We are searching for 1 Panelbeater to work in Auckland Region and to fill our permanent full-time position (guaranteed 30 hours/per week to maximum 45 hours/per week, work days from Monday to Friday).

Job duties for Panelbeater:

• Inspect vehicle body damage and assess the extent of repairs required.
• Remove, repair, replace, or reshape damaged vehicle panels using hand and power tools.
• Realign vehicle frames and chassis using appropriate equipment.
• Weld and fill damaged body sections as required.
• Sand, grind, and smooth repaired surfaces to prepare for painting.
• Dismantle and reassemble vehicle body parts and trim as part of repair work.
• Maintain accurate job records and report to workshop supervisor/manager.
• Ensure all repair work meets company quality standards.
• Operate workshop equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used.

To be successful you will need to:

• Have at least two years relevant experience, or
• Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification or equivalent qualifications/certificates
• Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
• Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
• have "can-do" attitude
