Registered Nurse - Cardiac Operating Theatres
Allevia Hospitals
Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Auckland, Auckland
Contract type: Full time

Are you a Theatre Nurse (RN) with experience in Cardiac cases looking for better work/life balance?
Based at Allevia Hospital Epsom (formerly MercyAscot), our Cardiac OR service covers Adult Cardio-Thoracics, with cases including CABG, Valve repair and Replacements, VATS or Thoracotomy cases.
At Allevia Epsom we're about to move our Perioperative service into the new purpose built Gilgit Wing, with 10 beautiful ORs, including a dedicated cardiac OR. The surgical specialties at Epsom include general, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, urology, neurosurgery, gynaecology, vascular, plastic and reconstructive, and head and neck. Plus, we're the only private hospital in Auckland with an ICU.
This is a permanent position with flexible FTE - so tell us what suits you. Our Theatre teams work rostered shifts across Monday to Friday with a mixture of six, eight and 10 hour shifts. Start times are staggered between 0700 and 1200, with the latest finish at 2030 (plus on call and some weekend lists).
So if you're an RN with a current NZ APC, and you have at least two years' experience scrubbing for cardiac surgeries we'd love to tell you more about the advantages of joining our team.
Why choose a job at Allevia Hospitals?
Our staff enjoy competitive remuneration rates (we have our own collective agreement with the NZNO), free car parking, a Christmas/New year close-down, and so much more. We provide a full orientation, a supportive working environment, autonomy of practice, and we actively support and encourage professional development.
At Allevia Hospitals we're committed to delivering world-class healthcare and a great experience for every patient, every time. We're part of the Allevia Health group and we're New Zealand's largest private surgical facility with 3 sites in Auckland where we deliver care to thousands of patients every year.
So don't just take on a job, create your career and be part of our amazing team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing private organisation.
