As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the AP and finance team, taking charge of accounts payable invoice processing and management. Leading a team spanning New Zealand and Indonesia, you will provide inspirational leadership, driving their daily excellence. Your responsibilities encompass driving continued adoption of the newly implemented Oracle ERP system and managing associated complexities around the AP process.

This is for a 14-month fixed term covering a Parental Leave

Your domain is Accounts Payable, and you bring a wealth of expertise with a constant eye on improvement. Operating within a high-paced environment isn't daunting to you – in fact, you thrive in such settings. You boast a wealth of experience in high-volume scenarios, embracing challenges with vigor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is second nature to you, accompanied by a meticulous approach to accuracy and detail. Most importantly, your leadership inspires and motivates your team. Ideally, your background encompasses large global organizations with a modern twist, including exposure to tier 1 ERP systems.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will

  • Display a strong penchant for out of the box system adoption, coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Identify process enhancements and confidently adapts to new systems and procedures
  • Manage invoice processing and payment across multiple locations, Supervise end-of-month processes within the accounts function, collaborating closely with the financial accounting team to meet reporting deadlines
  • Distribute workload, manage performance, provide feedback, offer ongoing training, and guide the AP Team
  • Familiarity with a large ERP accounts payable system, preferably Oracle.
  • Exposure to external and internal audit requirements
  • A relevant finance degree would be advantageous
