We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Engineer to collaborate with the Electrical Contracts Manager and Electrical Sub-Contractors in delivering high-quality electrical infrastructure across various projects. This role includes maintaining project specifications, meeting contract deadlines and budgets, and prioritizing safety and environmental protection. Additionally, the Electrical Construction Engineer will support the Electrical Contracts Manager in ensuring that all electrical works align with design intent and industry best practices.

This role will be initially based in Wellington, then will offer the flexibility to work on projects in various locations.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for seeing each and every project through to completion and bring the following qualities:

  • Relevant experience in industrial electrical engineering
  • Technical knowledge of HV, LV and ELV systems including instrumentation commonly found in the Water Industry
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication skills
