About The Role
We're seeking an experienced People Systems Business Analyst for our Technical Solutions team, focusing on Oracle HCM (Stellar). You'll bridge our People & Culture department and technical teams, ensuring HR systems meet business needs while driving improvement. This BAU role requires technical expertise and strong people skills.
You'll work with a Delivery Team Lead, Senior Test Analyst, Senior System Engineer and Oracle HCM vendor. As the sole Business Analyst for our Oracle HCM platform, you'll have full ownership of optimizing our HR systems with significant autonomy.

About The Role

What You'll Be Doing
- Requirements Management: Gather, analyse and document Oracle HCM business requirements; translate needs into functional/technical specifications
- Oracle HCM Enhancements: Analyse quarterly Oracle releases, identify relevant features, implement per roadmap
- Enhancement Delivery: Support design, testing, and implementation of Oracle HCM solutions
- System Configuration: Configure Oracle HCM modules for business processes and user needs
- Process Improvement: Create process maps, conduct gap analyses, streamline HR workflows
- User Adoption: Drive system adoption through focus groups, demos and engagement efforts
- Defect Management: Analyse systems/data to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions
- Documentation: Create process flows, user guides, and configuration records in Confluence/Jira
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise between HR, technical and vendor teams
- Technical Business Analyst experience, preferably in HR systems
- End-to-end Business Analysis lifecycle experience
- Oracle HCM experience highly desirable
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts
- Workshop and demonstration facilitation experience
- Strong relationship-building skills across departments
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail
