Motor Mechanic

Kelston Tyres and Car Repairs Limited is looking for 2 experienced Motor Mechanics to join the team. This is a full time permanent role based in Auckland. You will be required to work minimum 32 hours and maximum 40 hours per week.

Right applicant will be offered between $34-$36 based on experience.

Duties will include:

• To detect and diagnouse faults in engines and parts.
• Install, repair and maintain mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Repair and replace worn and defective parts.
• Perform service maintenance like oil change, lubrications and engine tune ups.
• Reassembling vehicle parts after repair.
• Maintain, test and repair diesel motors and other mechanical parts of trucks and other heavy vehicles such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes.

What we are looking for:

• At least 2 years relevant work experience or a relevant qualification.
• Can do attitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowldge of motor mechanic tools and car partes.
• Class 1 drivers licence.
