New Zealand’s premier radio network is searching for a talented and dynamic Newsreader to take the helm of our evening news bulletins, broadcasting nationwide on Newstalk ZB and its affiliated stations.
In this key role, you’ll bring your extensive journalism experience, sharp news judgment, and understanding of media law to the forefront. Your ability to write, edit, and deliver compelling news bulletins with authority, clarity, and a conversational touch will set you apart.
In addition to compiling and delivering bulletins on air, you’ll update international news from a variety of sources affiliated to Newstalk ZB, oversee a team of night reporters, and collaborate seamlessly with the wider NZME news team. As a leader in the newsroom, your mentorship and guidance will be instrumental in breaking stories and maintaining the high standards of Newstalk ZB.
