About The Role
- Position: HR Business Partner
- Location: Based in Lower Hutt with some travel required
- Type: Full-time
Oversee the entire recruitment process ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires
- Manage job postings, candidate screening, interviews and selection processes
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements
- Esure new employees receive comprehensive orientation and training
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews and consultations with managers
- Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops and e-learning modules
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
- Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Implement initiatives and programs to enhance workplace culture and morale
- Organize team-building activities and recognition programs
- Provide expert advice and support on employee relations issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Schedule and conduct regular meetings with management to discuss HR-related topics
- Provide coaching and support to managers on handling employee issues and improving team dynamics
- Stay informed about departmental needs and challenges to offer proactive HR solutions
- Highly motivated, resilient and resourceful with strong communication skills
- Degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial or blue-collar setting
- Known for your empathy, respectfulness and attention to detail
- Proven ability to drive positive change through effective HR practices
