Tahu FM, the only Iwi Radio Station in Te Waipounamu, are seeking an energetic enthusiastic Media Broadcasters to join our team and the wider iwi organisation. This is an exciting position with an opportunity to turn your passion for te reo and entertaining into a career that will enrich the lives of current and future generations of Ngāi Tahu whānau.
We are looking for Media Broadcasters, on-air announcers that are creative and has a passion for radio and connecting with whānau through multiple platforms.

We Are Looking For a Passionate Individual With
- Past experience in radio, media and journalism
- Knowledge and understanding of te reo Māori and a willingness to learn and advance in this area
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a complex environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven relationship management skills
- Thrive in a team of creatives
- Familiarity with the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to the work of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu
- A passion to work and engage with Papatipu Rūnanga and Ngāi Tahu whānau
