An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Accountant to join a dynamic and reputable organisation. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in accounting operations from top-mid tier firms, with financial reporting experience who is looking to gain exposure in budgeting/analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing periodic financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or IFRS standards. What You'll Do
As a Management Accountant, reporting directly in to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in the accounting operations of the organisation. You will also prepare financial statements, manage the year-end audit process, provide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. Additionally, you will prepare an annual scheme budget process for all property syndicates, whilst dealing with senior levels stakeholder across this business including C-Suite, Property Managers both internalling and externally.
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position will bring a wealth of experience in similar roles along with a relevant tertiary qualification in business or finance. Chartered Accountant status is preferred. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial accounting role is required along with some exposure in property industry experience is advantageous. You should have deep knowledge and understanding of core financial standards as well as experience with internal or external audits. Strong analytical and investigative skills are crucial along with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

What You'll Do

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Complete periodic bank reconciliations in accordance with internal policies
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Prepare and process GST returns within IRD timelines
- Prepare financial statements and manage the year-end audit process
- Provide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Prepare annual scheme budget process for all property syndicates
