We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Data Migration Specialist (or Systems Integration Engineer) to join our team for a core banking data migration project.
This role requires someone that has strong experience with migrating large volumes data, ideally account and transaction financial data, and has a wide set of experience working across different systems and platforms
You will be helping drive the system build, contributing to the high-level design, creating the detailed design, and collaborating with our partner vendors. The ideal candidate will also provide technical support, ensure a smooth transition to production, and meet our strict security requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with architecture and our vendor partners to create and maintain detailed system design documents
- Plan and execute data migration project delivery, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime
- Coordinate and implement migration system build across environments
- Define data mapping documentation and standards
- Write technical and stewardship documentation for data migration systems and processes
- Establish and maintain controls around the handling of production data to ensure security and compliance
- Support and maintain related .NET and Java applications

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting both Linux and Windows systems
- Experience with data integration systems, ETL processes, and data mapping
- Proficiency in SQL for data integration tasks
- Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
- Familiarity with tools like Dynatrace and Sumo Logic for monitoring and observability
- Ability to maintain and support Java and .NET applications
- Provide technical support across different migration systems and environments
- Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires liaising across different teams and stakeholders, including our product and delivery functions, to ensure successful project delivery.
