We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Platform Manager to lead the development and ongoing optimisation of our digital platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly, reliable, and scalable.


Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential, as you’ll work closely with Product Owners to align platform capabilities with our product vision and business goals.


With Kotahi’s business transformation programme delivering a new systems environment in Q1 2026, a key focus will be to establish and manage continuous enhancements through Dev/Sec/Ops practices - embedding security seamlessly into development workflows.


This is a full-time, permanent role. It is based in Auckland and sits on the Kotahi IT Lead Team.


What you will Own and Deliver:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of our digital platforms , ensuring they are user-friendly, reliable, and scalable.
  • Develop, maintain and execute platform roadmaps that meet the ongoing needs of the business, evolve in line with technology innovation and deliver to meet business strategy.
  • Analyse platform performance and user feedback to continuously improve functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Set in place Dev/Sec/Ops capability to deliver a continuous enhancement WoW in partnership with 3rd party support partner. Include performance monitoring and reporting of KPIs to meet platform uptime and reliability.
  • Implement a vendor governance framework to maximize value to Kotahi. Manage the relationship with platform partners and ensure all obligations are being met.
  • Ensure innovation is rapidly operationalised , including future state documentation and the rapid implementation of support structures.
  • Collaborate with POs and Architects to ensure platform cross-business re-use and to align business roadmaps with platform capability.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Several years of experience in digital platform management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimising digital platforms.
  • Experience with various digital tools and platforms, such as CMS, CRM, analytics tools, and marketing automation software.

  • A relevant degree in computer science, business or similar.

You will have a proven ability to connect business strategy and planning to commercial outcomes. You’ll bring strong experience in managing enterprise backlogs, leading change, and driving efficient, scalable, and automated processes.

With a passion for digital enablement and continuous improvement, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and stakeholder engagement are key. Your excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills will help orchestrate initiatives that deliver real value for customers. Experience in logistics, shipping, or the primary sector is a bonus but not essential.
