Based in Auckland, working within the experienced and collaborative NZ Orthopaedic team, you will be part of the Joint Reconstruction team and be responsible for achieving an agreed revenue target by identifying and gaining business from new and existing customers. This role would suit someone who is passionate about patient outcomes, has excellent relationship skills and has a real desire to drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving an agreed revenue target by identifying and gaining business from new and existing surgeons
- Providing in theatre support to Orthopaedic surgeons for relevant procedures
- Building relationships with our key surgeons and their nursing staff by way of training, education, and clinical case support
- Ensuring that all surgical cases are properly equipped with the required instrument kits, implants, and user guide as per each customer’s requirements.
- Experience in the medical industry and hospital theatres.
- Experience in selling orthopaedic products to surgeons and working in a hospital environment with orthopaedic surgeons is ideal.
- A tertiary education in a related medical field such as a physiotherapist, paramedic, biomedical engineer, science (anatomy) or nursing is ideal.
- Resilience and versatility: you can work autonomously or in a team and are passionate about providing first class service to our surgeons and hospitals.
- Excellent communication & influencing skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
- Current driver’s license (essential) and be flexible to travel in New Zealand.
