Reporting directly to the Country Manager of Nestlé Professional NZ, you will be a key player in driving our business to new heights as a vital member of our dynamic Sales Team. As the Wholesale Distributor Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering profitable sales growth by crafting and executing strategic customer plans that perfectly align with Nestlé Professional's ambitious business objectives.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team, bringing fresh and creative solutions to the table. Your external engagements will be nothing short of extraordinary, as you seamlessly connect with a diverse range of stakeholders—from local Branches to the CEO executive team.
Your role is crucial in building and nurturing strong customer relationships, optimizing trade spend, and ensuring the flawless execution of our business plans. This position demands a strategic thinker who is both creative and solution-oriented, with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the foodservice industry. Top 3 things we are looking for:
- The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in the foodservice industry, excelling at customer engagement and relationship building while effectively managing diverse stakeholders.
- A strategic thinker who is both creative and solution-oriented, with strong analytical & critical thinking skills to leverage data-driven decision-making and identify new growth opportunities in a cluttered and competitive market.
- A passionate foodie with a deep understanding of the foodservice industry and a strong drive for business growth, coupled with excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in key account management, wholesale distribution, and/or office coffee management, with a proven track record of driving profitable sales growth and managing large-scale customer accounts
- Understanding foodservices/office market dynamics, trade, and competitive environment, responding with agility to changing market conditions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in NZ and AU, including sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and technical teams, to achieve business objectives
- Extensive expertise in negotiating complex trading terms and achieving high ROI from trade spend
