Our client, KidsCan, a leading non-profit organisation in New Zealand, is seeking a dedicated Partnerships Executive. This role offers the opportunity to work within an organisation that is committed to providing food, clothing and essentials to children in need across the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing relationships with corporate partners and business supporters, exploring new opportunities for collaboration, and executing partner engagement activities.
What You'll Do
As a Partnerships Executive at KidsCan, your primary responsibility will be nurturing relationships with corporate partners and business supporters. You will work closely with the Partnership Managers to create bespoke partnership plans that meet the needs of both KidsCan and its portfolio of partners. Your role will also involve maintaining accurate partner and event data in CRM systems, conducting administrative tasks related to partner management, fundraising and events, and assisting the Partnerships Managers in fulfilling all contractual agreements. You will collaborate with internal teams to facilitate partner staff engagement with schools, KidsCan events, and volunteering opportunities.
The ideal candidate for the Partnerships Executive role at KidsCan brings proven experience in marketing, sponsorship or account management. Your ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams will be crucial in this role. You possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills which enable you to interact professionally with various stakeholders. Your strong attention to detail ensures a high level of accuracy in your work outputs. Excellent organisational skills coupled with advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office are essential for this role. Experience with CRM databases would be advantageous.

What You'll Do

- Support Partnership Managers in creating bespoke partnership plans tailored to the needs of both KidsCan and its portfolio of partners.
- Maintain accurate partner and fundraising data in CRM systems, ensuring effective CRM management and streamlined communications.
- Conduct general administrative tasks related to partner management, fundraising and events ensuring all interactions are professional and effective.
- Assist the Partnerships Managers in ensuring all contractual agreements are fulfilled, maintaining regular communication with partners to deliver on agreed objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate partner staff engagement with schools, KidsCan events, and volunteering opportunities.
- Provide administrative support to the Events and Fundraising team when required, including assistance with key events and campaigns.

- Proven experience in marketing / sponsorship / account management (3+ years preferably).
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively and collaboratively across teams.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work outputs.
- Excellent organisation, time management, prioritisation, and planning capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, ideally with some experience with CRM databases.
