Our client is seeking a Property Operations Manager to lead their operational Facilities Management, Health & Safety and Logistics teams. This is a pivotal role that requires an inspiring leader who thrives on operational excellence. The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and be capable of navigating complex issues and tight timeframes with ease. In addition, they will provide high-quality, timely advice and leadership at all levels of the organisation. As a key leadership role in the broader Property and Assets Team, your expertise will span a wide range of operational functions, with an unwavering focus on the safe delivery of work. What you'll do: * Contribute toward organisational initiatives such as transformation programmes and strategic initiatives * Oversee and inspire an established team across your functions, fostering a positive and collaborative environment * Identify, develop and implement improvements to process and procedures as required * Work closely with the Property and Assets leadership to deliver integrated and consistent management * Oversee and manage all expenditure and commitments within delegated authorities and budget * Ensure effective and timely resolution of issues * Role model organisational behaviours and Te Tiriti O Waitangi principles What you bring: * Exceptional Health, Safety and Wellbeing experience * Deep expertise in facilities management within complex environments * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to senior executives and external stakeholders * Experience with the management, control and oversight of hazardous substances, location compliance and logistics functions * Strong financial acumen across property and facilities management * Team leadership, coaching and development skills * Ability to manage multiple competing priorities * Proven long term capability in the delivery of formal facilities management and hazardous substances management
