This is a key role in driving the overarching ANZ Marketing Strategy in New Zealand, placing a strong emphasis on initiatives tailored specifically to the market.
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing in Australia, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering seamless collaboration with the Sydney-based marketing team. Acting as the voice of Marketing within the New Zealand office, they will work closely with the Country Manager to ensure alignment with the overarching marketing strategy.

Core Responsibilities

- Plan, develop, and implement impactful trade marketing strategies, including innovative shopper campaigns for key priorities and occasions, in close collaboration with Channel and eCommerce teams to align with overall business objectives across Australia and New Zealand.
- Experience in conducting post campaign reviews that identify commercial impact, wins and highlight takeaway for future campaigns that can be shared internally and with customers.
- Champion Shopper insights across the business; and ensure strategies translate insights into action.
- Project management and operational coordination of all consumer/media events, from planning to execution alongside agency team.
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and media requests on an ongoing basis aligned with the ANZ Marketing Strategy. For existing partners, Grow aligned partnerships (based on clear criteria and selection) that are focused on outcomes, benefits and aligned to our LEGO values.
- Budget management monthly tracking and control of Trade Marketing Budget.
- Establish strong working relationships with Marketing (based in Australia), Sales Teams, Field Sales Team, Operations, and external suppliers to enhance integration and impact opportunities.
- Self-starter with strong skills in running and prioritising workloads, ensuring alignment with the marketing strategy and the Head of Marketing based in Australia.
- Play a key partnering role for the Country Manager, supporting NZ in reaching strategic goals.

- Demonstrated ability in consumer products marketing and broad experience across all marketing fields, particularly retail marketing and PR and events.
- Demonstrated detail orientation with experience in successful time management, budget management, project management and marketing logistics
- Effective relationship builder who can collaborate across functions and business units
- Exhibited project management expertise emphasising successes and team outcomes
- Commercial attitude and analytical skills to evaluate impact
- Experience leading agency relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Great teammate, and able to work independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- A curious, proactive self-starter with eagerness to learn
- Ability to prioritise and lead multiple demands
- Strong communicator and collaborator.
- Strong analytical and excel skills.
- High attention to detail
