We are looking for an experienced Telecommunication Technician to join our busy team based in Auckland.

To become a successful candidate:

What you will require:

• A New Zealand Electrical registration as an electrician or a relevant trade certificate is a MUST.
• 3+ Years of experience in the Telecommunication industry.
• Minimum Level 6 qualification in the Telecommunication field.
• Practical and mechanical skills and an eagerness to learn
• A safety-first mindset with the ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork skills and reliability under pressure.
• A willingness to work on emergency callouts outside of normal hours.
• A class 2 driver's licence with a clean driving record.

What will you do:

• Provide technical support and expertise for high-voltage substation works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety procedures.
• Work closely with management to plan and scope jobs, identify influencing factors and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Locate faults in telecommunication equipment using instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters and transmission measuring equipment.
• Attaching wires and cables to appliances.
• Installing telecommunication equipment and appliances such as telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipment.
