About the Role
The infectious diseases registrar position is accredited for non-core Infectious Diseases training, or core training for General Medicine advanced trainees. The successful candidate will also participate in the on call general medicine roster. The position is envisaged for 6 months of General Medicine or subspeciality rotations, plus 6 months of Infectious Diseases.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at www.mcnz.org.nz
- Completed PGY2 year or equivalent.
- A keen passion for Anaesthetics. Previous experience in independent basic anaesthesia is preferable but not a key requirement.
- Dynamic and adaptable.
