As a key contributor to ZIWI’s global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, the Demand Integration Planner will be responsible for consolidating, managing, and executing demand plans to ensure alignment between market requirements and supply capabilities. This role serves as a critical liaison between our Supply Planners and Market S&OP teams, with the aim of delivering optimal service levels and maintaining operational excellence.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring forecast accuracy, supporting allocation strategies during constrained supply periods, and facilitating the effective integration of market demand into our enterprise resource planning (ERP) and S&OP systems.

Based in the sunny Hawke’s Bay, the role will integrate seamlessly with our NZ based team as well as international distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate global demand and replenishment forecasts; ensure visibility in ERP and planning tools
  • Manage exceptions to forecast changes within planning time fences and collaborate on resolutions
  • Capture and control abnormal demand to ensure the best for business decision on how to proceed
  • Working with the wider Supply Chain team implement allocation strategies when demand exceeds supply
  • Support the development and maintenance of accurate demand forecasts, incorporating market intelligence and historical data
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the S&OP process
  • Prepare and analyse performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards related to forecast accuracy, process adherence, and inventory management

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in demand planning or supply chain operations, preferably in the consumer goods or pet food industry
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and statistical forecasting tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and geographies
