About The Role

As the Retail Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the retail planning cycle, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, and effectively allocating resources. You will oversee performance management, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate collaboration across the business. Your expertise in strategy and planning will be crucial in developing and iterating our retail strategy based on relevant research and analysis. Some of the key responsibilities are:

  • Oversee the prioritization of Retail initiatives, providing the Retail Leadership Team (RLT) with oversight of key dependencies and communicating strategy updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and iterate the retail strategy based on research and analysis, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Manage the tracking and reporting of progress and benefits realization for Retail initiatives, facilitating the adoption of best practice project delivery.
  • Oversee the implementation and embedment of a performance model with clear accountabilities and OKR/KPI transparency, coordinating strategic and performance updates.

About You

  • Proven experience in business strategy or planning roles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of the retail electricity/gas industry is an advantage but not essential.

You will be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, capable of understanding the broader business context and maximizing returns. You excel in communication, articulating ideas clearly and confidently while effectively influencing others. Your critical thinking skills will enable you to analyze the complex challenges within our business and develop innovative solutions. You will need to be detail-oriented and reliable in implementation, ensuring plans are executed meticulously.

This a permanent, full-time role which could be based out of Auckland or Hamilton offices.
