We're looking for an Insights Analyst to join our Legal and Risk team and help transform data into actionable intelligence that drives strategic planning and risk mitigation. The location for this role can be based in Auckland or Whangarei, based on the right candidate.

The role:

As an Insights Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Legal, Risk, and Assurance functions. This is a data-focused role where your knack for extracting insights will help identify and manage risks, monitor compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives. You'll collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and provide high-impact analysis that informs decisions at the highest level - including reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and analysing data from a variety of risk and compliance sources
  • Developing insightful reports and dashboards to highlight key trends and metrics
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives across risk and assurance
  • Partnering with teams to deliver meaningful insights and support data-driven decisions


About you:

We’re after someone who can transform data into insights to enable better, safer and smarter decisions across our organisation: You will:

  • Have 2-4 years’ experience in a data analyst, risk, compliance, or similar role
  • Bring strong analytical and data storytelling skills, ideally in risk or legal contexts
  • Be proficient with tools like Excel and Power BI
  • Have a relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, economics, finance, or risk
  • Be able to build strong working relationships and communicate insights to a non-technical audience
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with plenty of autonomy
