Director of Marketing and Recruitment

The role is responsible for growing the international student pipeline from brand building and lead generation to application and enrolment, both onshore and offshore. The Director will ensure that the marketing and recruitment budget is effectively utilised and will work closely with the University international and marketing teams and the wider Navitas global sales and marketing network, as well as education agents, partners and clients. This is a pivotal leadership role with an opportunity to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring development and achievement of student recruitment targets through effective marketing and recruitment planning and activity
• Liaison with the University of Waikato teams and the wider Navitas GSM network.
• Providing effective leadership for student recruitment staff
• Developing and maintaining a network of education agent relationships
• Overseeing the development and deployment of marketing campaigns and materials within University and Navitas guidelines
• Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing and recruitment activities
• Collaborating as a member of the College Management Team to ensure overall College performance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will understand the complex and ever-changing world of international student recruitment. Your proven track record in international student recruitment and expertise with the tools and techniques of marketing and sales will enable you to lead as a subject matter expert. You will be well travelled with a passion for the value of international education. Being adept at building relationships and operating effectively cross borders and cultures will be key to your and our success.
