The Technology group is a key enabler at WEL and has responsibility for applications, platforms, operations, data, information security and digital delivery teams. As a group we have recently embedded a new operating model and are on an exciting journey to develop new ways of enabling WEL to become a truly digital business.

About the role

The Enterprise Applications Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing our enterprise applications, including our ESRI GIS, SAP S4/Hana, and other systems of significance to the business.

Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, you will lead a team of technical experts and functional specialists to support our Enterprise Applications. You will focus on maximising business value for the business by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You will partner closely with all business units to lead delivery of product roadmaps that help us maximise our return on core applications and deliver enhancements that make life better for our internal and external customers.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in IT or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in senior IT leadership positions
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
  • Strong communication, influence and calm under pressure
  • Experience leading, and collaborating with, teams in the design, development, implementation and support of Enterprise applications
  • Demonstrated passion for customer service, commercial acumen and vendor management.
