About the Role

The Integrated Operation Centre is the hub of the hospital and operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Allocations administrator facilitates the resource availability and deployment of staff to ensure the IOC delivers on departmental needs for supplementary staff and close care needs across the organisation. The Allocations Administrator will utilise appropriate systems and processes to ensure staff are available and appropriately placed to support staff deficits. The successful applicant will be working rostered, rotating shifts which includes weekend work. The work hours each day are 08:00am –08:30pm. Please click here to view the position description

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of clinicians/business managers need your help to support the staffing of the hospital. You will working closely with the Duty Nurse Manager and unit managers to response to staffing needs. You will work in the IOC office.

About you

To be successful you require the following:

  • Demonstrated computer literacy and skills to record, enter, store, retrieve and organise data
  • Able to cope with work that involves working in demanding situations on an occasional basis; and interruptions/multiple deadlines. Capable to stay calm in emergency situations.
  • Able to engage and communicate effectively with Managers, Nursing staff, HCAs and Administration staff
  • Previous administration and customer service experience
  • Hospital experience is an advantage
