We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the charge in shaping and embedding project excellence across our Operations teams. You’ll be the driver of our PMO governance, delivery outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives that make a tangible difference.

The Opportunity
Are you a seasoned project leader who thrives on structure, strategy, and delivering meaningful results? We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the charge in shaping and embedding project excellence across our Operations teams. You’ll be the driver of our PMO governance, delivery outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives that make a tangible difference.
As part of the Operations Performance team, you’ll:
- Lead the Operations PMO, establishing structure, roles, and responsibilities, and driving continuous improvement across project management practices
- Standardise and elevate project delivery through best-practice tools, templates, and methodologies
- Manage multiple end-to-end projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timely delivery, and value for the business
- Facilitate effective collaboration across internal teams, including SLT, IS leads, change managers, and process owners
- Track and report progress through clear milestones, KPIs, and transparent updates to stakeholders
- Support and mentor others, building capability and confidence in project delivery across the organisation
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying and implementing initiatives to drive efficiency and impact
You’re confident working at pace, across multiple projects and with senior stakeholders. You bring a mix of structure and flexibility, and know how to connect people and process to drive results.
You’ll also need:
- A recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)
- Proven experience leading a PMO or embedding project frameworks in complex environments
- Extensive project management experience, handling multiple initiatives of varied scale and complexity
- Deep understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on customer-centred outcomes
- Ability to engage and influence at all levels, from sponsors to SMEs
- Excellent communication skills, clear, confident, and collaborative
- Proficiency with tools like MS Project, JIRA, or similar
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, innovation, and sharing best practice
