Our client is a leading medical device company dedicated to supporting healthcare sectors in delivering exceptional surgical care and medical devices. We're currently seeking a highly organised Fleet Coordinator to join their team part-time, playing a crucial coordination role between the hospital, operations team, and sales representatives.

About The Role

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be based primarily within the CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) at Dunedin Hospital for two days each week, with one additional day working remotely. You'll manage the flow of surgical instruments and devices, ensuring timely inbound and outbound logistics to and from the hospital. You'll act as a key liaison to keep all stakeholders informed, organised, and aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate surgical instrument and device deliveries and returns between the hospital and the client.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and reporting of fleet and inventory movements.
  • Liaise with hospital CSSD staff, operations personnel, and sales representatives to align daily priorities.
  • Support compliance with sterilisation, handling, and tracking protocols.
  • Monitor fleet usage and condition, ensuring all assets are available and fit for purpose.

Who You Are

  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to manage logistics processes in a healthcare or operational setting.
  • Comfortable working within hospital environments, particularly CSSD.
  • Confident using basic inventory or fleet tracking systems (training provided).
  • A self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
