About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Registered Nurse with broad nursing experience to join our dedicated team who are committed to providing the very best in health care to Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora - Lakes community. This position is highly autonomous and involves visiting patients in their homes to apply your practical nursing knowledge and assessment skills, case management, and patient education.

About you

The successful candidate will be:

• Clinically confident with a great attitude and have excellent wound care knowledge or experience
• Ideally from a community or district nursing background
• Empowered to provide continuity of care for our patients from beginning to end, with great orientation, excellent ongoing clinical support, and access to ongoing education provided.

The successful candidate will have:

• Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
• Current APC
• Current driver’s licence for automatic or manual vehicle and the ability to drive in rural settings
